First of all, if you are thinking of trying another diet, or lose weight program, I am relieved that you have found my blog, because not only will my story shock you, it will almost certainlay save your health, money, and a lot of heart ache. Which is why I have written it.
About me: mother of 4 young children, that I adore. I have struggled with my weight since my oldest was born 8 years ago. Since then, I have tried everything from the atkins diet, to weight watchers, neither of which has worked to Keep the weight off.
The first diet I tried was the Atkins diet
This took some getting used to, as I wasn't used to only eating proteins. Cutting out all of those carbs was difficult. After 30 days I had lost about 18 pounds, and was feeling great. Then the problem; it wasn't a sustainable diet. I couldn't do it anymore. I gained all of the weight back within another 30 days. Can I tell you how disappointing that was?
Herbalife
Herbalife was interesting. I took a bunch of different products, from protein powder to herbal tea, to many vitamins, etc. I did lose weight, but I also spent a lot of money, and I also gained it back. You don't have to take a bunch of supplements, spend hundreds, thousands, of dollars. I found out the hard way.
Weight Watchers
Some time went by, then I tried weight watchers. If you're not familiar with it, it's based on a point system. Again, I lost weight, then gained it back....again. I don't know about you, but this can get very depressing. The other problem was with all my kids, how do I make time to go to the meetings?
Finally, Something that has worked!
I have now been on the Strip That Fat program for over a year, have kept the weight off, and am almost at my weight prior to children. Can I tell you how excited I am!!! so excited I wrote this blog! This program teaches you the best foods to eat, and when to eat them. You don't starve, and you lose the weight. My only reason for writing this is because I have finally found the best, and easiest program to follow, and hope I can help someone else that has struggled with their weight.
